This week's assignment was to capture a portrait without the main focus being the face. I tossed around a few ideas over the week, but nothing really struck me as something I just had to get. After taking my afternoon walk, I found the wife had set up a table to work on a baby blanket she's putting together for her sister. This gave me an opportunity to get my image for the week. I do think the image perhaps would have been better if it was set up using natural light through the window instead of relying on the tungsten ambient I had. Overall, not too bad. I like it. For those keeping notes, below in the EXIF data.

  • Camera: 100mm, f/2.8, 1/13s, ISO-1000

Next stop...week eight.
